Hargray Communications Deploys VCAS to Secure Expanded IPTV Broadcast and Video-on-Demand Content

Verimatrix Seamlessly Integrates with Hargray’s IPTV Platform as Part of its Quadruple-play Service

Las Vegas, 2008 International CES — Verimatrix, setting the standard in content security technologies that enhance the value of pay-TV networks, today announced that Hargray Communications has deployed the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS™) for IPTV solution to secure broadcast and Video-on-Demand (VoD) content on its Broadband TV service. Hargray delivers wired and wireless telephone, high-speed Internet and cable and IP television services to 100,000 customers in Hilton Head Island and the surrounding areas of South Carolina and Georgia.
