The demonstration will showcase the Espial RDK-based user experience running on Pace’s ultra-fast, high-performance IP STB using the Espial STB Client. Key highlights of the RDK demonstration will include an HTML5 user interface, video-on-demand storefront, popular video applications, and social media integrations all wrapped in a rich media experience.

Pace’s IP client STB features industry-leading processing speeds and advanced graphics acceleration. The STB integrates with home networks via Ethernet or MoCA technologies and includes support for a variety of video formats. The IP STB supports multiple software and content security configurations.

“Utilizing the Espial STB Client on Pace’s IP set-top box, cable operators can easily and efficiently deliver blended Web and TV services to customers,” said Jaison Dolvane, President and CEO, Espial. “We are excited to partner with Pace in demonstrating an advanced RDK user experience at The Cable Show 2013.”
