Amper wins Telefónica Latin America STB contract

MADRID — Amper Group, through its subsidiary Amper Sistemas, has announced that it has been awarded a contract by Telefónica to supply set-top boxes for its services in Latin America.

Supply will begin in the next few months with a delivery of 18,000 units to Telefónica del Peru. Amper expects that shipments will reach 200,000 units in 2014, covering most of the Latin American countries in which Telefónica operates.
