Colombia's ETB to launch IPTV this month

According to El Tiempo, Colombia’s Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Bogotá (ETB) has said that the company is at last ready to launch its interactive TV service. The offering, consisting of 160 television channels with 40 in high definition (HD), is expected to be made available via the company’s fibre-optic network in Bogotá by the end of March.
ETB’s fibre network passes 290,000 homes in Bogotá. 1,000 customers have already signed up for the FTTH service.
