IPTV Launched Commercially In Kolkata By Calcutta Telephones

KOLKATA — R Bandopadhyay, Additional Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, Ministry Of Communications & Information Technology, Govt. of India today formally launched IPTV (Internet Protocol TV) in Kolkata – a multiplay Broadband service. Today IPTV is being launched at Bangalore also. Earlier IPTV was launched in Pune, Mumbai and New Delhi. This IPTV digital signal will reach normal TV in houses through SED (Smart Electronic Device) and modem.

IPTV Booking & Locations

The booking for IPTV service for 4 locations — Bidhan Nagar , Kalighat, Russa & Ballygunge Place of Kolkata started today. The booking can be done over Toll Free no 1800 345 8888.
