India re-schedules Phase III and IV cable TV switch over dates
Thursday, September 11th, 2014NEW DELHI — India’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I&B) has officially announced new dates for the phasing out of analogue cable TV in the country.
The digitization of India’s cable TV sector has been taking place in 4 phases with the first two already complete. Phase III has now been moved form 30th September 2014 to 31st December 2015, and Phase IV from 31st December 2014 to 31st December 2016.
