Showtime to be available OTT in 2015

Speaking on CBS Corporation’s third quarter 2014 results conference call, Leslie Moonves, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, said that CBS’s Showtime premium channels will be available as an OTT service in 2015.

Commenting on the announcement that HBO will be available as a stand alone internet TV service next year, Moonves said “We could say fairly definitively, sometime in ’15, there will be some service from Showtime.”

CBS has already made available programming from its CBS Television Network via the recently announced CBS All Access service.
