Samsung Smart TV Platform Reaches New Milestone Attracting 1.5 Million Weekly Visitors to its Smart Hub

Samsung Electronics Co, Ltd. today reinforced its position as the number one Smart TV brand in the UK with the news that its Smart TV platform now has more than 1.5 million weekly unique users – a 50% increase in users over the past nine months.

The popularity of the Samsung Smart TV platform has continued to grow with people accessing the best choice of entertainment content through the Samsung Smart Hub. From Full Catch Up TV (ITV Player, BBC iPlayer, 4oD and Demand 5) through to stunning Ultra High Definition content from partners such as Netflix and soon, Amazon Instant Video as well as the best in curated and independent world cinema from MUBI and Curzon Home Cinema, Samsung has a wide range of content available to download for viewers.

The UHD content offering on Samsung’s Smart TV platform compliments the incredible viewing experience of Samsung’s award winning Smart TVs.
