LAS VEGAS — CES 2019 — TiVo Corporation (NASDAQ: TIVO), a global leader in entertainment technology and audience insights, today announced that izzi Telecom, a leading cable operator in Mexico, has signed a license for interactive program guides (IPG) and entertainment metadata for their izzi Telecom video service. The multi-year agreement supports a wider deployment of TiVo’s Passport Guide, and adds comprehensive video metadata for TV and video programs.
izzi Telecom will expand deployment of TiVo’s Passport Guide for set-top boxes to its operations in Mexico City and Monterrey, and add TiVo Video metadata, which together provide a high-quality and intuitive user experience. Specifically, izzi Telecom subscribers will benefit from a modern, HD program guide and enhanced features that make it easier for subscribers to find and watch TV content.
