Robi & Bongo to offer video streaming service
DHAKA — Robi Axiata Limited and Stellar Digital Limited, popularly known as: Bongo, have recently signed an agreement to offer on-demand video content streaming service to Robi and Airtel subscribers. The commercial free entertainment content is perfectly suited for the people who wants to experience personalized digital home theatre.
Robi’s Managing Director and CEO, Mahtab Uddin Ahmed and Stellar Digital Limited- aka, Bongo’s Managing Director, Ahad Mohammad Bhai signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at Robi Corporate Office.
The agreement allows Robi & Airtel subscribers to enjoy local and international live TV & video on demand content from a rich library of entertainment content. The platform will also provide wide variety of bangla movie, telefilm, web series, and music video to choose from. Besides, Robi & Airtel subscribers can connect to this platform with multiple devices, making it convenient for them to access it from anywhere and anytime of their choosing.
Robi’s Chief Financial Officer, Roni Tohme, Chief Technology and Digital Transformation Officer, Medhat ElHusseiny, Chief Supply Chain and Program Officer, A. K. M. Morshed, Head of HR, Faisal Imtiaz Khan, Executive Vice President, Digital Service, Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui and Executive Vice President, Airtel Business, Md. Mahbubul Alam Bhuiyan were present at the signing ceremony.
Bongo’s Director, Navidul Huq, Chief Operating Officer, Fayaz Taher and Chief Compliance Officer, Karel Kuiperi were also present.
