ENENSYS Technologies launches its new DTTConnect® solution for Digital Terrestrial TV
RENNES — ENENSYS Technologies is proud to launch its new offer DTTConnect® to build and operate next generation Digital Terrestrial TV networks.
DTTConnect® comes as a comprehensive solution especially designed for next generation DTT head-ends. Based on ENENSYS’ virtualized and software-based technologies, DTTConnect® brings the maximum flexibility and scalability to optimize sizing of the head-end infrastructure according to need. It allows “one-click” transition between 1st and 2nd generation of DTT standards as well as the emerging 5G Broadcast technology. It provides the latest state-of-the-art Broadcast gateway technologies to maximize the DTT channel efficiency and operate SFN (Single Frequency Network) networks.
“DTTConnect® inherits from our unique and un-matched experience in providing technology to deploy DVB-T, DVB-T2 and ATSC 3.0 Single Frequency Networks”, says Eric PINSON, Terrestrial Market Director at ENENSYS. “It comes as a very innovative concept and offer to meet the expressed demands from Broadcasters to ease any DTT standard migration and to experience new technology such as 5G Broadcast in a very flexible manner”, adds Eric.
DTTConnect® offer is based on a subscription business model with different plans to perfectly suit with the different phases of a DTT network roll-out, from the early experiment in labs toward a complete commercial roll-out. The solution can be fully secured with redundancy and QoE/QoS monitoring capability. Furthermore, DTTConnect® features Ads-Insertion signalling and monitoring for a better DTT resource monetization.
