CableLabs: Accelerating Collaboration, Alignment and Innovation with SCTE•ISBE
Members of the SCTE•ISBE (Society of Cable Television Engineers) and its international arm International Society Broadband Experts (ISBE) will be voting to combine forces with CableLabs, streamlining the cable industry’s technology-based associations by uniting its two largest engineering organizations into one. If approved, the transaction will ensure that the industry will not only meet the current pace of change – but be in a position to accelerate it.
What will this mean for CableLabs members?
To continue the industry’s commitment to 10G, the increased alignment of investments, resources, innovation and execution is critical. Engaging vendor and international relationships create efficiencies in connecting across the industry with implementation, best practices, needs and allocation of resources. CableLabs members would have an increased opportunity to access a greater array of SCTE•ISBE benefits and services.
