Stream-IQ Leaves Stealth Mode at IBC2024 and Launches a Video Delivery Platform that provides a Quantum Leap in Cost-Efficiency
AMSTERDAM — At IBC2024, Stream-IQ is to launch a groundbreaking video delivery platform that is poised to disrupt the market by offering the most cost-efficient solution, primarily for Tier 2 and Tier 3 Service Providers. Stream-IQ will make its official debut at IBC2024 (RAI, Amsterdam, stand 5.A37, 13th – 16th September).
As the demand for affordable and scalable video streaming solutions continues to grow, many video service providers face significant challenges in providing their customers with high-quality viewing services without incurring prohibitive costs. Stream-IQ is making its public debut at IBC2024 and launching a video platform designed specifically to address this, offering a comprehensive, component-based platform that enables video service providers to deliver linear TV, catch-up TV, restart TV, and Video on Demand (VOD) services efficiently and affordably.
“Stream-IQ is the result of our team’s extensive experience in the video delivery industry,” said Tijn Smithuis, Co-founder and Managing Director of Stream-IQ. “We have engineered a platform that leverages modern cloud-native technologies and best practices from building several video delivery solutions over the past two decades, avoiding outdated, costly systems, ensuring that our solution is both scalable and ultra cost-efficient”.
Key Features of Stream-IQ:
- Ultra Cost-Efficient: Leveraging the latest cloud-native technologies, Stream-IQ minimizes operational costs, making it the most cost-effective solution on the market.
- Scalable and Flexible: The platform’s modular architecture allows video service providers to select and pay for only the features they need at a fixed monthly fee per subscriber, ensuring scalability and cost predictability as their business grows.
- Comprehensive Offering: Stream-IQ includes robust back-end content management, video back-office and front-end applications for various devices, and full support services, enabling video providers to deliver a seamless and high-quality user experience right out of the box. Functionality includes support for linear and live broadcast television, catch-up, restart and VOD services with DRM protection for authenticated and entitled subscribers.
Stream-IQ will be showcased at IBC2024 in Amsterdam with a live demonstration of the platform. This debut marks an important milestone for Stream-IQ as it enters the market, offering a viable alternative for video service providers looking to enhance their service offerings while maintaining profitability. Stream-IQ expects to announce its first partner shortly.
“We’re excited to present Stream-IQ at IBC2024,” added Pim van der Heijden, Co-founder of Stream-IQ. “After having worked with our great team in stealth mode for some time, IBC is the perfect opportunity for us to introduce our platform to industry leaders, clients and partners who are seeking innovative and cost-effective video delivery solutions.”
