Streambox Media launches subscription-financed TV in India
Wednesday, November 27th, 2024Indian media-tech venture Streambox Media has launched a new television called Dor that will come with its own subscription-based operating system called DorOS.
The 4K QLED TV does not come with a typical price tag. Instead, consumers have to pay an “activation fee” on purchasing the TV and will be charged a single, affordable subscription fee every month in order to access the OS that brings together all the content from multiple OTT apps and television channels as well as live channels, news, and gaming on one unified platform.
