Peru goes with ISDB standard for DTT
Thursday, April 23rd, 2009LIMA — Peru has decided to adopt the Japanese-Brazilian standard for digital TV from 2011. The decision was announced by Enrique Cornejo, the minister from the Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones.
The decision was taken based on the recommendations of the Comisión Multisectorial de TDT set up to assess the most appropriate standard for the country, after evaluation of the ATSC, DVB, DTMB and ISDB-T specifications.
