ADB To Deliver HD DVR-Enabled IPTV Service To Altibox
Sunday, September 13th, 2009GENEVA, Switzerland — Advanced Digital Broadcast (SIX:ADBN), a leading supplier of technology to the global digital television industry, announced today that it signed an agreement to supply two advanced IPTV devices, which will enable Altibox to offer its customers an HD IPTV service with PVR functionality. The ADB-2810W set-top box and the ADB-5812WX digital video recorder also offer new levels of content security and memory.

- The ADB-5812WX: an advanced HD IPTV digital video recorder (DVR) with home networking functionalities. The unit supports most deployed video standards, including MPEG-4 HD/SD, WMV9 and XviD. It offers a 3D user interface, UPnP/DLNA-based home networking, and supports Windows Media Connect.
- The ADB-2810W: an entry-level HD IPTV set-top specially designed for operators looking for cost efficiency without compromising on the features. The product is also enabled for a home networked.
