Colombia issues tender for DTH coverage of remote areas

Colombia’s Comisión Nacional de Televisión (CNTV) is requesting quotations from parties interested in participating in the tender for CNTV’s ‘TV Satelital Directa al Hogar’ project.

Proposals, to be received by January 31st, are part of the first phase of the project, designed to investigate the amount of investment that will be required.

The ‘TV Satelital Directa al Hogar’ project is intended to allow the 8 per cent of the country that still has no television signal to receive Colombia’s national and regional public TV services as well as national privately operated channels.
