Western European Tier 1 Operator awards Amino contract for hybrid/OTT media centre

Amino Technologies plc (AIM: AMO.L), the leading independent IPTV specialist, has secured a substantial contract with a tier 1 Western European operator to deliver hybrid/OTT Intel®-based media centres to support the operator’s new broadband TV service.

The service will be will be powered by Amino’s new Amino Freedom DVB-T hybrid media centre – featuring the Atom™ processor CE4100 from Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) – which has been specially designed to help meet growing consumer demand for TV-based “Over-The-Top” (OTT) video entertainment.
