Amino Communications (AIM: AMO.L), the world leading independent IPTV specialist, will showcase its new Amino Freedom hybrid/”Over the Top” (OTT) media centre at NAB 2010 in Las Vegas next week.
Visitors to booth #41096 in North Hall 2 will be able to book a demonstration of the new media centre, which recently won the prestigious “Best Consumer Device” award at the IPTV World Forum in London.
Recently selected by a major Western European operator to deliver a new broadband TV service, the new DVB-T hybrid media centre – featuring the Intel® Atom™ processor CE4100 – has been specially designed to help meet growing consumer demand for TV-based “Over-The-Top” (OTT) video entertainment.
Amino Chief Executive Officer Andrew Burke said: “The Amino Freedom is being very well received within the industry with a significant contract and industry awards already secured. Operators and service providers are now looking at the delivery of OTT content as a key differentiator in their offering and we look forward to demonstrating its capabilities to visitors to NAB.”
