NTV-Plus and Panasonic to launch 3D channel in Russia

At a joint press conference, Panasonic (NYSE:PC; Tokyo:6752) and NTV-Plus officially announced the launch of Russia’s first 3-D channel. Broadcast on the satellite platform of NTV-Plus, the service is scheduled to begin on October 15, 2010.
Panasonic and NTV-Plus have signed a partnership agreement in the field of 3-D for a period of 1 year with the option to extend the deal to March 2014.
