Softbank launches glasses-free 3D smartphones in Japan

Softbank (TSE: 9984) has announced its latest range of mobile phones. Included are two 3D-capable devices, the Galapagos 003SH and the 005SH, made by Sharp Corporation (TSE: 6753). The phones come with 3.8″ displays and can support 3D images for games and entertainment without the need for special glasses.
Both also support ISDB-T one-seg (1-seg) reception, and are based on Google’s Android 2.2 operating system.
