NDS Partners with ARM to Enable OTT Delivery on Connected TVs

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA — CES — NDS Group, the leading provider of technology solutions for digital pay-TV, today announced that it is has entered into a partnership with ARM (LSE: ARM; Nasdaq: ARMH), the world’s leading semiconductor intellectual property (IP) supplier to enable the delivery of Over-the-Top (OTT) content and services to connected TVs, with NDS InfiniteTV™.

The cooperation will enable connected TV manufacturers to implement a ready-made software solution that will provide a framework for OTT services, easily integrated with a variety of devices.

The Infinite TV ™ suite of technologies enables the delivery and optimisation of OTT content on any device, whilst enhancing the value proposition for all members of the content eco-system. It grants viewers the freedom to watch content, that can be monetised through advanced advertising models on connected TV’s or any internet capable device.
