India STB shipments exceeded 10 million units in 2010

According to Screen Digest, in 2010 digital set-top box (STB) shipments in India reached 10.7 million units, with 18.1 million televisions also being sold. TV shipments are forecast to reach 23.4 million in 2015 driven by demand for high definition (HD) and internet connectivity.
