Venezuela ends 2010 with 2.5 million Pay TV subscribers

According to preliminary (and revised) statistics published by its Comisión Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (CONATEL), pay TV subscriptions in Venezuela at the end of the 2010 were 2.53 million, up from 2.19 million at the end of 2009. Household penetration reached 36.7%.

In the final quarter 42,000 net new subscribers were added.
