ANT signs Agreement with Scientific Atlanta

ANT Software Limited (AIM:ANTP) today announced that Scientific Atlanta (‘SA’), a Cisco Systems company, has selected ANT to be the provider of its core television service applications. Under this agreement the Company will provide the reference television service applications for the Cisco IPTV solution. This agreement extends beyond the previous licensing of the ANT Galio Client and ANT Galio Browser to Scientific Atlanta.
This is a significant development in the Company’s partnership with SA and in the acceptance by the IPTV industry of its new ANT Galio product range. ANT is now the reference supplier of a comprehensive range of highly customizable television applications which Cisco and Scientific Atlanta will supply to their IPTV customers worldwide.
The Company continues to invest in its technology roadmap for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Operator customers world-wide, particularly in the development of enhanced ANT Galio based applications, which will enable licensees to take full advantage of the benefits and features within the ANT Galio platform. The agreement confirms the Company’s view that ANT Galio, the cornerstone of its technology roadmap, is ideally positioned to become the platform of choice for developing IPTV applications.
