Bouygues Telecom Brings the Internet to TV Through Extended Partnership with Bluestreak Technology

Bluestreak Technology’s Family of MachBlue Products Selected to Deliver Both Flash® and HTML5 Internet Content to Bouygues Telecom IPTV Subscribers

MONTREAL — Bluestreak Technology (Canada) Inc., a proven leader in delivering software presentation solutions on multi-screen wireless and wired embedded devices, today announced that French network operator Bouygues Telecom has expanded their partnership with Bluestreak Technology to deliver Internet services to Bouygues Telecom’s Bbox IPTV subscribers. Through the new contract, Bouygues Telecom will use Bluestreak Technology’s family of MachBlue products, including MachBlue Classic and MachBlue XT, to deliver entertaining and informative multimedia content to Bouygues Telecom’s popular Bbox IPTV interface.

The Bbox offers over 220 television channels, including both free-to-air, premium, and HD channels, as well as access to Internet content. It gives consumers a visually rich and intuitive IPTV experience which includes a portal and entertainment programming guide, a DLNA media center, and a widget framework for accessing Internet content, like news, sports, weather, traffic, entertainment gossip, stocks, and horoscopes, using the TV.

The Bbox triple play offers start at €31,90 a month and quad play at €45,80, including three hours of unlimited mobile calling.
