Venezuela - CONATEL will meet with technicians from France and Japan to define digital TV standard

Representatives of the National Telecommunications Commission, CONATEL, will travel to France and Japan in order to meet with public and private entities with expertise in digital terrestrial television.
The intention is to discuss the industrialization of the sector and technology transfer, so as to be able to produce concrete proposals that will enable Venezuela to decide whether to adopt either the European or Japanese standards.
