Pay TV household penetration reaches 50% in Venezuela

According to preliminary statistics published by its Comisión Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (CONATEL), pay TV subscriptions in Venezuela at the end of March 2013 were 3.61 million, up from 2.89 million at the end of the first quarter of 2012 – an increase of 25%.
Household penetration reached 49.97%.
