ADB to supply Hungary's Business Telecom Kft with hybrid set-top

GENEVA, Switzerland — Advanced Digital Broadcast (SIX: ADBN), leading supplier of technology to the global digital television and broadband industry, announced today that it will deliver the ADB-2850ST hybrid digital set-top box, pre-integrated with its award-winning Carbo™ user interface, to Business Telecom Kft.

Using the ADB-2850ST platform, Btel will create an enhanced consumer TV experience for its subscribers. Users will be able to quickly and easily access a broad range of high definition channels and interactive applications via ADB’s Carbo interface.

Carbo, which is already live with a number of European and Asian pay-TV operators, offers super-fast channel change, and clear, simple menus. Instead of navigating through the traditional multi-layer menus, users quickly reach their desired application with an intuitive carrousel of icons.
