GENEVA, Switzerland — Advanced Digital Broadcast (SIX: ADBN), a leading supplier of technology to the global digital television and broadband industry will be showcasing its latest pay-TV platforms for the US Cable market at The Cable Show, suite ES70.

Innovations on display will include:

Commercial Video Solution

“Our new commercial video solution offers a complete turn-key platform that is integrated into operators’ existing network plants, leveraging both QAM video and the IP backbone infrastructure to yield an enterprise-class scalable system. This system is a perfect example of how ADB’s software and set-back box solutions can help operators address previously untapped commercial markets – such as hotels – with advanced interactive services” said Chris Dinallo, Vice President of Product Management, Americas Cable Business Unit, at Advanced Digital Broadcast.

Phantom – tru2way® set-back box

ADB pioneered the innovative set-back box concept that is designed to fit on the back of any flat panel TV. Phantom is the latest generation: it is an all-digital, OpenCable platform that includes 3D video capabilities and innovative features such as ADB’s patent pending DVR-Lite™technology. The platform is perfectly suited for both residential and commercial video markets.

Spirit – fully interactive entry-level HD set-top box

Spirit is an answer to the operators’ never ending pressure to offer advanced services with minimal capital expense. It packs ADB’s latest tru2way® implementation in a small, cost-effective box, for a stunning performance. The product is destined to replace set-tops that have lived beyond their time – whether it be Standard Definition, legacy, or just end of life software, the Spirit is the perfect HD replacement to keep current subscribers satisfied.

tru2way® Analyzer – Remote access version

By popular demand, ADB has enhanced its tru2way Analyzer to include the ability to co-locate the platform in Network Operation Centers where technicians can remotely monitor and retrieve network parameters. All the features are available on hand including access to CableLabs EYES edge application suite. The result: faster installations and less time spent on travel, maintenance and routine system monitoring.
