Amino Secures New Order from City of Salisbury for Fiber to the Home “Fibrant” Network Rollout
Fibrant, the City of Salisbury, North Carolina’s Fiber to the Home network, has selected Amino (AIM: AMO), the leading IPTV/OTT specialist, to provide leading edge IPTV set-top boxes for the next phase of its deployment.
Amino has worked with Fibrant since 2009. The new contract phase will include the delivery of Aminet A540 PVR devices to deliver advanced high-speed broadband access, entertainment services and local content.
Amino Communications Director of Sales for North America Dan Carufel added: “The City of Salisbury is making great strides in delivering fiber-to-the-home and a powerful package of high-speed broadband, phone and television services. The A540 came through a rigorous selection process to become Fibrant’s new DVR offering.”
