The ISDB-T high definition STB SoC is a leading solution with optimum cost/performance value targeted at the Latin American market, which, with the 2014 FIFA World Cup and 2016 Summer Olympics both to take place in Brazil, is believed to fuel growth momentum for the STB industry over the next few years. In addition to ISDB-T set-top boxes, ALi’s ISDB-T SoC is also being designed into a variety of innovative applications such as STB with IP, DVD player plus ISDB-T combo STB, portable DVD player plus ISDB-T combo STB, Blu-ray DVD player plus ISDB-T combo STB and HDMI stick, providing Latin American consumers with diversified choices all with reliable performance.
