TAIPEI — ALi Corporation, a leading Set-Top Box (STB) chipset provider, proudly announced that the company will launch F6A, the next-generation DVB-S2X SoC to target at India, APAC, Africa and Cenam/Latam market regions. The new F6A SoC is designed to meet conditional access system (CAS) requirements for Global Pay TV while offering HEVC, Ethernet and Full HD to enrich viewing experience.
In order to further penetrate the markets of India, APAC, Africa, Cenam, and Latam regions, ALi is preparing to launch its new F6A SoC designed for DVB-S2X broadcasting specifications. In fact, F6A is made to be cost-effective solution for operators, as it integrated latest format S2X demodulator from its predecessor (F4 and F5 series), which has already been tested compliant with mainstream CAS (conditional access system) vendors including Conax, Irdeto, Nagra, and Verimatrix.
To enrich viewing experience for subscribers, ALi F6A comes with hardware-assisted functions such as HEVC, 10/100 Ethernet PHY and Full HD support. Along with ALi sophisticated software kit, developers can shorten their development time and implement network-based contents for their users.
