4.165 million pay TV subscribers in Spain at end-Q2 2012
Monday, November 26th, 2012According to a survey of ICT in Spanish households released by the country’s National Observatory of Telecommunications and the Information Society (El Observatorio Nacional de las Telecomunicaciones y de la Sociedad de la Información – ONTSI), there were 4.165 million pay TV subscribers in Spain at the end of the second quarter of 2012, representing 24.2% of Spanish homes.

Spanish viewers spent €320 million on pay TV services in the first half of 2012, up €48 million compared with the €272 million spent in the corresponding period of 2011.
