1 million subscribers with HD for Kabel Deutschland
Tuesday, December 11th, 2012Kabel Deutschland (KD), Germany’s largest cable operator, has announced that more than 1 million of its subscribers are now receiving HDTV programming.
KD has 45 HD channels available on its network across its various HD packages, having just signed an agreement with Sky Deutschland that allows it to broadcast eight additional Sky HD channels.
According to its quarterly results, KD had 8.2 million basic cable subscribers at the end of September 2012, with 1.9 million Premium TV RGUs.
