Espial Brings HTML5 User Experience for RDK IP Set-Top Boxes at RDK User Conference
OTTAWA — Espial, a leader in on-demand TV software and solutions, today announced it will demonstrate a high performance HTML5 TV user experience demo on multiple RDK (Reference Design Kit) IP and hybrid set-top boxes (STB) for attendees of the upcoming RDK User Conference, February 11th in Denver, Colorado.
An early pioneer in developing innovative and advanced HTML5 TV user solutions for Smart TV manufacturers and cable operators, the Espial RDK solution demo will showcase HTML5 user experiences purpose-built to achieve the highest level of performance and usability on RDK set- top boxes. The Espial STB Client is designed to give operators maximum flexibility and is capable of bringing new applications to any RDK-based STB. Espial recently announced it was chosen by a tier one cable operator as the RDK integrator to deliver a RDK based set-top box complete with Espial’s application framework and out-of-the-box HTML5 user experience.”
