Globe to offer HOOQ OTT in the Philippines

Philippines’ telecommunications service provider, Globe Telecom (PSE: GLO), has announced that it will offer video-on-demand to its customers in partnership with HOOQ, the recently announced multiscreen OTT service from Singtel, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Warner Brothers.
A start date for the service has not yet been abnnounced.
Globe Telecom’s major stockholders are Ayala Corporation, Singapore Telecom and Ayala subsidiary Asiacom.
