Brazil's Oi to add TV Everywhere to quad-play service

SÃO PAULO — According to NexTVLatam, at the ABTA (Associação Brasileira de Televisão por Assinatura) Expo & Conference, Oi S.A., the largest telecommunications company in Brazil, announced plans to add a TV Everywhere service to its Oi Play platform. Oi Play is a quad play service combining broadband, mobile and telephony with DTH satellite TV.
Channels available online will include Telecine Play, Globosat Play, Premier Play, ESPN Watch, Esporte Interativo, Sexy Hot Go, Fox Play, Cartoon Go, TNT Go, Space Go and Combate Play.
The service will be available by the end of this year, and will be free-of-charge to Oi Play users.
The company also plans to allow customers to add PVR functionality to their set-top boxes with the addition of storage via USB.
