Dominican Republic postpones analogue switch-off to 2021

SANTO DOMINGO — The Instituto Dominicano de las Telecomunicaciones (Indotel), the telecoms regulator in the Dominican Republic, has issued a decree (294-15) extending until August 9, 2021 the date of final analogue TV switch-off in the country.
The Dominican Republic has adopted the U.S. ATSC standard for its digital terrestrial service.
