Amino’s Enable TV software platform provides robust, field-proven quality. Amino has more than 10 years of experience optimising IPTV service performance and reliability of IPTV services across a wide range of set-top box platforms powering over 150 deployments globally.

Enable offers a rich native C and HTML5 development environment providing operators with great flexibility to integrate their choice of TV middleware, applications and security solutions.

“We’re delighted to present our subscriber base with a fresh user interface and new media choices without the time-consuming logistics associated with a complete hardware replacement,” said Tom Simpson, Chief Technology Officer at Cincinnati Bell. “With Amino’s long history of successful deployments powered by Enable TV software, we were confident that Enable was the right choice for our customers.”

Donald McGarva, CEO of Amino Communications, also commented: “Enable was originally designed for Amino’s own needs to deliver rich TV user experiences and media applications over any home network on Amino TV devices, but we also designed Enable in a way that makes it portable to virtually any hardware platform with very little work. Along with our customers such as Cincinnati Bell Inc., we are starting to see the real value of Enable software – giving operators the freedom to update their TV user interface, applications and DRM on legacy devices without a costly roll-out of new hardware to consumer’s homes.”
