Jiuzhou to Deploy SERAPHIC Solutions in Global Market

Shenzhen Jiuzhou Electric Co., Ltd., one of the largest STB manufacturers in China, announced its overall cooperation with SERAPHIC Information Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. at CCBN 2016. Jiuzhou will deploy SERAPHIC’s HbbTV, YouTube Leanback, Open Browser, TV Store solutions ported on mainstream STB SoCs provided by Broadcom, Mstar and so on, targeting at the global pay-TV market.

SERAPHIC provides superb blink-based Sraf® HTML5 Browser compatible with various TV standards including Youtube Leanback, HbbTV 1.5, Freeview+, Freeview Play, etc. By integrating Sraf HTML5 Browser with Jiuzhou’s DVB and multimedia software, SERAPHIC supports complicated YouTube 2016 and HbbTV 1.5 business. Furthermore, it has great potential to meet with YouTube 2017, HbbTV 2.0 and Freeview Play Phase 2 standards, which will enable Jiuzhou to maximize its R&D input-output ratio.

SERAPHIC also provides advanced open TV browser and mainstream smart TV portals, with over 1,000 global TV Apps pre-integrated. This will allow Jiuzhou to apply SERAPHIC’s multimedia solutions and accelerate time-to- market for their OTT products.
