The new OTE TV PLUS service offers on demand & free of change a large library of films and TV series airing on OTE CINEMA channels, as well as OTE HISTORY documentaries and shows. The service is available as of Friday 30 September for all subscribers using OTE TV’s new advanced hybrid environment.
Through the OTE TV PLUS service, subscribers are able to watch whenever they want selected films and series titles from the programming of OTE CINEMA 1HD, 2HD and 4HD channels, as well as documentaries of OTE HISTORY channel, all in High definition quality.
Many of the film premieres of OTE CINEMA channels starting from October will be added to the OTE TV PLUS movie library; the same goes for all the new top series of OTE CINEMA 4HD, such as the award-winning The Happy Valley, the nominated for 2 Emmy Awards UnREAL, the Trapped, the Undercover, the Roots, the Deutschland ’83, and the new series The Young Pope by Paolo Sorrentino starring Jude Law, No Tomorrow with Tori Anderson and the sitcom The Great Indoors with Stephen Fry, premiering in October.
The programs will be available to the service immediately after their airing on OTE TV channels. The content will be dynamically enriched, following the commercial launch of the service and will be continuously upgraded.
The OTE TV subscribers can look for the OTE TV PLUS service in the On Demand menu category and the available titles are categorised based on the type of program (films, series & OTE HISTORY). To view the program you like all it takes is to press the “View” button in the detailed information[1]. If you have a hard disk, you can temporarily save the title (up to 48 hours) to watch it later.
The new hybrid TV environment of OTE TV combines the benefits of the satellite platform with the interactive services of OTE TV (OTE CINEMA ON DEMAND, OTE REPLAY TV, remote programs recording, etc.).
In order to be able to enjoy the OTE TV PLUS and other interactive services, subscribers will need to connect their set-top box with their DSL connection router –no matter the provider.
