Bridge Technologies to Monitor TOT’s IP Networks in Thailand
OSLO, Norway — Bridge Technologies is pleased to announce the successful deployment of Bridge Technologies’ award winning video services monitoring solution at TOT Public Company Limited, Thailand’s largest fixed line and mobile network operator. Advanced Digital Tech Group Thailand (ADT), Bridge Technologies’ business partner in the region, has played a key role in this technologically advanced project.
Specifically developed for terrestrial broadcasting applications, Bridge Technologies’ system ensures the integrity of the DVB-T2 specific encapsulation and the individual services carried within that encapsulation, at TOT’s central distribution location at Khlong Toei, Bangkok, and at provincial antenna sites. Combined with Bridge Technologies’ IP network performance monitoring, the system is able to detect any specific network issues as well as provide understanding of the effects of any such issues on the integrity of the data stream.
“Ensuring 100% reliability of our video specific IP distribution network is critical for our business” explained Mr. Sarotphi Phiraphong, Chief Engineer of Broadcast Department at TOT “whilst our customers’ interest is in ensuring 100% service quality. Bridge Technologies’ system simplifies the complex relationship between the two.”
“The use of third party national and international IP-based video contribution networks is growing,” added James Chance, Regional Manager APAC “for which network performance and video service monitoring systems are proving to be an invaluable component in both operations and as part of the business relationship.”
Bridge Technologies will be demonstrating the full range products and systems at Broadcast Asia 2017, stand 4T3-01.
