HYDERABAD — Pune-based Exza Infosystems Pvt Ltd on Thursday launched a new platform called Advantage which connects advertisers to pay TV users.
The company, which is also into set-top box space, developed this advertising platform which uses empty screen space when a TV viewer presses control buttons on remote or change channels, to deliver digital advertising content. The technology has been developed in such a way that viewers can get more information on the advertisement if they wish to.
It chose Telangana to roll out the service first as it already tied up with a couple of leading cable operators in the State and undertook pilot project here.
“We invested close to Rs 10 crore on the new technology. Through this, we will provide a technology medium for advertisers to deliver targeted digital advertisements across India in real time to its consumers connected to cable TV networks, beginning with Telangana market,” Joy Kokkat, Managing Director, Exza Infosystems, told the media here.
With the country’s larger vision of digitization as well as ‘Make In India’ programme promoted by the governments, Exza is consciously taking the right step forward to enhance the digital footprint in media & entertainment industry, he added.
The company has partnered with globally-renowned technology providers in the consumer electronics and digital media processing and content security & delivery domains.
