Facebook Portal to get Amazon Prime Video app

At its F8 developer conference, Facebook provided an update on plans for its Portal smart display device. The company said that there will be an initial expansion of availability from the US to Canada, and that later this year the Portal and the larger Portal+ will be launched in Europe.

Through a collaboration with Amazon, more visual features and Alexa skills will be added, including Flash Briefings, smart home control and, later this year, the Amazon Prime Video app.
