Vestel Integrates HD Austria TV App On Smart TVs From Toshiba, Hitachi And Many More

HD Austria has announced that, thanks to a cooperation with Vestel, its TV app is now available on Toshiba, JVC and Hitachi Smart TVs, with more to follow. The Smart TV app is supported by all devices with an integrated satellite tuner from the above brands – specifically those TVs with motherboards MB130 and MB211. Consumers can read the number of their motherboard in the product specifications of their TV set.

The app has already been made available on Samsung and LG Smart TVs. This third cooperation gives even more consumers easy and convenient access to the broad variety of channels in HD and UHD, and the hybrid functions, that HD Austria’s satellite TV platform provides.

With the HD Austria TV app, the viewer enters the user interface of the satellite TV platform directly via the control panel of the Smart TV. Setting up the HD Austria app on the Smart TV is easy and straightforward. In addition to channels via satellite, customers with the HD Austria Kombi package can also receive dozens of additional premium channels via the Internet. They can also pause and restart programs at the touch of a button and retrieve thousands of films. The app not only runs on the smart TV at home, but also on-the-go on mobiles, tablets or on a laptop – up to a limit of 5 devices.
