China Telecom announces IPTV preferred suppliers
Monday, August 25th, 2008China Telecom (NYSE:CHA; HKSE:0728) has announced its preferred suppliers for IPTV 2.0 platform and terminal equipment procurement.
Infrastructure: ZTE (HKSE:0763; Shenzhen: 000063), UTStarcom (Nasdaq: UTSI), and Alcatel-Lucent (Paris and NYSE: ALU).
Standard-definition (SD) terminals: ZTE, UTStarcom, Coship (Shenzhen: 002052), Motorola (NYSE: MOT), Huawei, Postcom, Sunniwell, Alcatel-Lucent, Yuxing, Kaitian and Changhong (Shanghai:600839).
High-definition (HD) terminals: ZTE, UTStarcom, Alcatel-Lucent, Postcom and Changhong.
