BrawBand selects Netgem TV to bring full fibre and TV bundles to Inverness, Glasgow and Renfrewshire – just in time for the Premier Sports Cup final!

INVERNESS, UK — BrawBand, a Scottish broadband provider that offers customers gigabit-capable, Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP), has announced a partnership with Netgem TV that will enable its customers to access over 200 channels, including Premier Sports, available at home or on a mobile device. BrawBand Customers will also have access to the Freeview Play service, making use of hundreds of extra box sets and movies for no additional cost, in addition to the widest choice of “add on” subscription apps in the market, all on one slick award-winning 4K TV Box.

BrawBand is a new ISP from the team behind HighNet Telecoms, a leading Scottish ISP. Brawband combines over 25 years expertise and experience in broadband with the new Full Fibre network from CityFibre. This offers ultrafast, full fibre internet to the premises and phone services for residential and business customers across Inverness, Glasgow and Renfrewshire. In addition, customers will also benefit from the chance to watch their favourite sports and entertainment through Netgem TV.

The timing of the partnership between BrawBand and Netgem couldn’t come at a better time for sports lovers, as it’s getting close to the Premier Sports Cup final! Celtic, who beat St Johnstone 1-0, and Hibernian, who beat Rangers 3-1 in their respective semi-finals, will be battling it out for the coveted Premier Sports Cup trophy at 3pm on the 19th December. This will be available on Netgem TV, ensuring customers will be able to watch it via gigabit speeds.

BrawBand became the first consumer ISP to join CityFibre’s open access network in Inverness after CityFibre began the construction of its £14.5m network in June 2020, and it is among the fastest broadband services available in the country, providing up to 1Gbps of bandwidth when both downloading and uploading. Currently, only around 24% of the UK has access to full fibre.
