Accedo One Integrates with Amazon Personalize To Bring Real-Time Personalized Experiences to Viewers Worldwide
STOCKHOLM, Sweden — Accedo has integrated Amazon Personalize, a real-time recommendation and personalization service, to its award-winning, no-code SaaS video platform Accedo One, to deliver personalized recommendations to end users while harnessing Amazon Web Services (AWS) machine learning technology. Amazon Personalize is available immediately in the Accedo One Partner Marketplace to all existing and new customers.
Amazon Personalize is a fully managed machine learning service that goes beyond rigid, static rule-based recommendation systems and trains, tunes, and deploys proprietary models to deliver tailored recommendations to customers across industries including retail and media and entertainment. Amazon Personalize can make recommendations, personalize search results, and segment customers for direct and personalized marketing through email or push notifications. Customers of the Accedo One platform will gain the access to effortlessly plug into the Amazon Personalize service and complement their video offering to drive higher content consumption, build curated content carousels, highlight new content offerings and enhance genre-based recommendations. Thanks to this integration, Accedo One customers will be able to deliver a wide array of personalized experiences, including specific product recommendations and personalized product re-ranking.
Markus Hejdenberg, Head of Product Sales and Marketing, Accedo commented: “Attracting and retaining viewers has never been more important than it is currently, with growing competition and increasing demands for a seamless user experience. Personalizing not only content discovery, but the entire user experience, is a good way to ensure consumers are more engaged with the video service and receive the experience for them.”
Upon implementation, Accedo One clients will receive results via Amazon Personalize’s API and will only pay for what they use, with no minimum fees or upfront commitments. All data is encrypted to be private and secure and is only used to create recommendations for the end viewers.
