X-Pert Multimedia Solutions Provides Indonesian MNC with Channel-in-a-Box

X-Pert Multimedia Solutions, a broadcast software and service provider, is proud to announce that one of the largest Indonesian broadcasters PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (known also as MNC) relies on X-Pert Channel-in-a-Box to ensure the whole broadcasting process of its channel iNews. The regional offices of the TV channel in nine Indonesian cities – Batam, Semarang, Medan, Lampung, Surubaya, Palembang, Bandung, Bali, and Jayapura are using the bundle of Playout, Ingest, and Graphics for playout automation, ingest, and interactive graphics.

X-Pert Channel-In-A-Box is an all-in-one bundle that includes Playout, Graphics, and Ingest. It integrates all the elements needed to keep a channel on air by combining automation, playout, and interactive graphics. It is suitable for broadcasting single or multiple TV channels. X-Pert Channel-in-a-Box can provide SDI or IP streaming connectivity for broadcast and cable televisions as well as other applications. It provides a user experience where on a single server or computer can be performed in parallel Playout with CG branding and Ingest with a possibility to broadcast currently ingested content. Furthermore, it can work in full automation with predefined events or be controlled through remote API, as well as in operations in manual mode.

X-Pert Playout is a playout automation solution, suitable for broadcast organizations of any size. It is available in UHD/HD/SD, SDI, or IP and secures operations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It supports SRT on both the encoding and decoding sides, it supports Intel QSV hardware-accelerated MPEG2/H264/HEVC decoding and MPEG2/H264/HEVC encoding. Other key features to mention are: SCTE35 triggers reading and generation over IP UDP transport stream, SCTE104 triggers reading and generation over SDI outputs (Decklink, AJA, Deltacast), MPEG DASH dynamic adaptive streaming over HTTP output, etc. Last, but not least, music and movie channels can be 100% automated and work without any human interaction.

Atrio is a leading-edge playout solution, developed on top of the X-Pert Playout experience and functionalities. As its predecessor it guarantees a fully automated broadcasting playout process, but in a totally revamped manner. Atrio has a next-gen interface, characterised by extreme flexibility and simplicity for improved customer experience and with reduced usage of system resources. The brand-new scheduled playlist business logic provides flexible functionalities that improve the automation systems’ integrations and helps the operators in their daily routine of broadcasting content. X-Pert Graphics is a sophisticated, yet extremely user-friendly on-air CG and graphics manager. It lets you create different static or dynamic objects such as rolls, crawls, multi-layered simultaneous still pictures, analog, and digital clocks, animated logos, etc., and save them in projects. Those could easily be used for direct broadcasting or as customized templates for future use. In addition, the application has a built-in Scheduler that lets you start objects from a previously created project(s) at different times.

X-Pert Ingest enables multiple channels of HD or SD content to be captured from HD/SD SDI digital feeds, analog sources, and MPEG transport streams. Four video sources can be monitored on a single screen and controlled via a new streamlined user interface. Audio levels can be monitored as loudness or true peak displays and adjusted when required.
